            Responsible for client projects involving craft training, including a broad range

            of technical and compliance related topics for lineworkers.  Tony’s career

            experience includes journeyman lineman responsibilities with Investor-Owned

Utilities and    powerline contractors, plus Lead Instructor for the Electric Line

Technician Program at Northshore Technical Community College.

 

 

Background:

 

Electric Line Technician Instructor:  2009 to 2015 - Northshore Technical Community

College, Greensburg, LA.  Developed Electrical Power Training Program and

taught the curriculum, including customized classes for Entergy, CLECO,

DEMCO and various powerline contractors in the region.

 

Senior Safety Specialist:  1999 to 2008 -  CLECO Power, LLC, Covington, LA

Provided technical and regulatory support by organizing and administering safety

programs, establishing behavior based safety principles, developing incident investigation protocols, engineering mechanical safeguards and providing regulatory consultation for a new power plant.

 

Journeyman Lineman  / Crew Foreman: 1989 to 1998 – CLECO Power, LLC,

Covington, LA.  Worked with and ultimately supervised a 9-man crew involved in overhead and underground powerline construction and maintenance throughout the CLECO service territory in south Louisiana.

 

Powerline Worker / Journeyman Lineman / Crew Foreman:  1976 to 1989 –

            Highlines Construction Company, Westwego, LA

Served as an apprentice lineworker, lineworker, Journeyman and Crew Foreman for contractor crews working throughout the south-central U.S., on projects including overhead and underground distribution, transmission and substations.
