Responsible for client projects involving craft training, including a broad range of supervisory, technical and compliance related topics for lineworkers.  Dan’s career experience includes journeyman lineman responsibilities with Electric  Utilities and powerline contractors around the U.S. and Caribbean.


Journeyman Lineman:  1980 to 2016 - Garkane Energy, Utah
Responsible for construction and maintenance of powerlines and equipment including overhead and underground systems, energized.  Distribution maintenance to include rubber gloves and hot-stick methods. Transmission maintenance to include hot-stick methods and the Bare-Hand method.

Field Safety Coordinator:  1980-2016 - Garkane Energy, Utah
Provided technical and regulatory support by organizing and administering safety programs, conducted compliance training as Pole Top and Bucket Truck Rescue Instructor.  Developed and utilized a High Voltage Demonstration Trailer for presentations to first responders and other local groups. Developed and utilized company line patrol program using GPS systems.
